Tunisian Crochet

Description

Create a washcloth in simple stitch.  As you can see from the photo Tunisian crochet or Afghan crochet is just a little bit different from our standard hooking technique as it uses a long hook and you hold your stitches on the hook - mind blown ! 

In this workshop Sonia will teach you how to create the ‘Simple Stitch’ and create a piece of cloth which will make a super washcloth (we will use a cotton yarn).  You will notice that Tunisian crochet is far more dense than normal crochet and makes a more solid fabric perfect for a washcloth. 

The stitches are very simple but you are more likely to get this project done in the time if you have a little crochet experience, that is why we have listed it in the improvers category.
