Learn to make your own clothes - Simple Dress or Top

Description

If you new to sewing or just want some tuition to improve your techniques or learn to read and follow a pattern this is the dressmaking workshop for you!

During the one day workshop we will make an easy fitting tunic top or over the knee length dress using the Tilly and the Buttons ‘Stevie’ pattern (included in the ticket).  Helen will teach you how to choose the right size for you, how to prepare the fabric and pattern to be set up for success.  You can choose to create this design as a top or dress. 

We have Pfaff sewing machines in the studio for you to use to construct your top or dress.   You are welcome to bring your own machine if you prefer.  Help is available all day as you create your garment.

We will offer fabric bundles for this workshop which you can buy as an add on to your ticket. Just let me know and I can give you the fabric and notions list if you would prefer to shop for your own. 

Whats included - your pattern to keep which retails at £18.50, full tuition, tea/coffee and homemade cake. 

What to bring - fabric and notions unless you have purchased a bundle from us, lunch and your sewing machine if you wish.
